Is Hair Transplant Surgery Painful? How Long Is the Recovery? What About the Scars?
The procedure involves local anesthesia, so patients feel very little to no pain during surgery.
Recovery time is short — most people can return to normal activities within 1–3 days.
Since the FUE technique extracts follicles one by one, only tiny dot scars remain in the donor area. These are invisible when hair is 2–3 cm long.
