CARLESS HAIR TRANSPLANT SURGERY IS POSSIBLE?

Many people think that the FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is a scarless surgery. Actually, both FUT and FUE do leave scars but scars from the FUE are very small. At HAIRSMITH CLINIC, the scar from the FUE is smaller than 1mm. If your hair is longer than 3mm, the scar will not be noticeable. However, it will be visible if you have a shaved head.

So, saying that the FUE is a scarless surgery can be considered as a fraudulent advertisement. As for the ISHRS and ABHRS’s codes of ethics, they urge surgeons worldwide not to advertise the FUE as a scarless surgery because it misleads prospective patients about the fact of this surgery.
