Hello everyone! I’m Pimwa from the channel ItsPimwa. Today, I want to share my experience with hair transplant to tackle my thinning hair. I have a genetic predisposition to fine, thin hair—everyone in my family has the same issue. I tried every method to nourish my hair, from shampoos to treatments and vitamins, but nothing worked.
During this time, I was also dyeing my hair, which involved bleaching my natural color, and that only led to more hair loss. As a result, I quickly faced the problem of thinning hair. Looking back at old videos or photos, I could see my wide part and thin hair very clearly, which made me feel insecure. That’s why I finally decided to go for a hair transplant!
I researched hair transplants and explored several clinics before ultimately deciding to consult with Dr. Prima at Hairsmith Clinic. The doctor explained that my case involves fine, thin hair, which is uniformly thin across my scalp. Because there’s a lot of area to cover, it wouldn’t be possible to fill it all in.
Dr. Prima suggested that I focus on narrowing my part line instead. Since I was going for a transplant, I also requested the doctor to help adjust my hairline at the front corners of my forehead. My natural hairline is quite angular, so I wanted it to be more rounded to create a softer look for my face.
What I really loved is that Dr. Prima provided me with excellent information. It was very detailed, which helped me make a decision, especially since I’m someone who values thorough information! On the day of the transplant, I felt super relaxed. I chose the Non-Shaven FUE technique because I had work commitments right after the transplant, so I didn’t want the shaved area at the back to be visible. Dr. Prima was incredibly gentle; I barely felt the anesthesia injections at all! I can confidently say that the hair transplant was the least painful procedure I’ve ever had. After the transplant, I was able to return to my normal life—going out with friends and working—without anyone even realizing I had a hair transplant since the back of my head wasn’t shaved or cut short.
Now that it’s been six months, time has flown by! My part line looks narrower, and the new hairline at the front is becoming more defined. Plus, it looks very natural, which softens my overall appearance. I feel much more confident when filming now! The doctor mentioned that this is just the halfway point, and my hair will thicken even more. I’ll be sure to update you all at the one-year mark!
For anyone facing similar issues, as I did, I highly recommend Hairsmith Clinic! The doctor is skilled, thorough, and provides complete information. The doctor is also an American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, which is a big plus.
The staff took great care of me throughout the process. If you’re considering a hair transplant for women, I can confidently say that Hairsmith Clinic is the only place to go!
