Hello everyone, this is Tonliw Morakot. First, I have to say that I’ve had a high forehead since I was a kid, which made me wear bangs all the time because my forehead was really high. Let me show you a picture from my childhood, haha. Very few people knew about this issue, so I finally decided to get a hair transplant. Today, I’m going to share my experience of having a hair transplant at Hairsmith Clinic with you all. Was it as painful as people think? What were the results? Let’s find out!
I’ve wanted a hair transplant for a long time but was afraid it would hurt, wouldn’t look good, or that many things could go wrong. However, I kept researching and looking at before-and-after photos from many clinics. Eventually, I came across Hairsmith. They had tons of before-and-after photos to compare, and I loved the natural look of the hairlines in their female hair transplants. That made the decision easy.
During the consultation, the doctor provided all the necessary information. He designed the hairline and estimated that I would need around 2,000 grafts using the FUE method. The doctor shaved the donor area at the back of my head, but the hair covered it perfectly, so no one could tell. On the day of the transplant, the clinic had everything prepared. I came in feeling relaxed and ready. At first, I was worried about pain, but the doctor was so gentle that I barely felt the anesthetic injections. After that, I slept through the procedure. After it was done, I didn’t feel any pain, just a bit numb from the anesthesia.
Post-surgery, I didn’t have any trouble sleeping, and I could live normally. I even went to a concert with my friends just two weeks after the procedure! I just covered my head with a scarf, and it was totally fine. After two weeks, I went back to the clinic to get the scabs washed off, and it felt great. The hair at the back of my head grew so fast that within two weeks, you could hardly see any scalp. Now, I just have to wait for the transplanted hair to grow. Some hair has shed, but other areas are growing in nicely.
Six months post-transplant, my face looks so much different. My face shape is more defined and softer. Even my regular hairdresser didn’t realize I had a transplant because they’ve seen a lot of transplanted hairlines that are obvious, but mine looks so natural. My hairdresser even asked where I had it done! I’m really happy with the results and the service at the clinic. The doctor and staff were so caring, which made me feel confident throughout the process.
For anyone still hesitating, I can say that getting a hair transplant was definitely worth it. Especially if you choose Hairsmith Clinic—you won’t be disappointed!
